This shield denies Russias nuclear capabilities. If it works that is, but the shield actually seems to be the worst and most expensive pet project that is an unlimited hole for money to vanish in.

The "shield" isn't going to stop a low flying cruise missile attack against the "shield" bases themselves.

Or even a "well executed" ground based attack , carrying of course g-2-a rockets.

And definitely a demolition crew, Russians are pretty good at that.

So too are suicide bombers, as we've seen in Kandahar!

I'm fine with it as long as we have the capability to knock anything resembling a nuke out of the sky. Fuck Russia, they should put up their own missile defense systems, the more the better. If everyone can kill nukes before they land then the whole planet doesn't have to perish if one of our jackass leaders decide to hit the button.
