Activity in odd places have defiantly picked up since the eclipse. Wouldn't be surprised to see a 6.4+ in a not so active area in the next 48 hours or so. ( Not a prediction, just wouldn't be surprised, lol )

they just said on BG TV that this is a new fault that the scientists didn't monitor - Pernik. the energy in this fault was "collected" for over 150 yrs., so in a way it is good that the energy is released. worry about the Vitosha fault, south of Sofia.

more quakes in this location the past 60 years than i would have suspected, but nothing of the magnitude this evening. Over 300 quakes have been recorded in this area back to 1975 but up until this evening only 2 of those had been over 5.0. You have to go back to 4/24/2002 for the last over 5.0 earthquake. It was a 5.7. The only other was a 5.5 on 11/3/1977

No, it's not. The strongest EQ in Europe, over the last 150 years occurred in Bulgaria. It was a 7.9 in 1904. Do some research and you will find that Bulgaria has a long history of EQs. It is a very seismically active area.

Anyone notice when these quakes happen... how fast some SHILLS come aboard and tell everyone how perfectly normal this all is and pay it no MIND or attention. Go about your business as usual, nothing is going on out of the ordinary... well, what if they are DEAD WRONG?
