Questions - Expecting good answers please
1) "New Mayan calendar found" which goes millions of years into future - This canceled doom for many. (i am not a doomtard - fyi)

Question - Was the newly found calendar older than the previous one? If i open calendar on my computer, it too goes for thousands of years, ASSUMING, number of minutes and seconds in a day will be same and the length of a year will be same as of today.

What if we find out something has changed? Wont we go for a new calendar? Can't the one ending at 21 dec 2012 is of such type? designed with improved knowledge instead of some routine sun rise and sun set observer?

2) There is evidence of human life from millions of years ago. Just look where we are now from 300 years ago in technological advancement, imagine the level of advancement we should have had from a million years..where should we be now if the knowledge was carried fwd? This tells me, all our knowledge and race is being reset at some point "at regular intervals", else we would be equal or even more intelligent than our alien friends. Agree?

3) Sun is going QUAD, says some scientist. Ok, fine, so what are the implications earth is going to have? Added to that, it happened 300 years ago. So, 300 years ago, sun had 4 poles, now sun is having only 2?? Other 2 poles were borrowed by Obama,s grand mother and she died without returning?

4) This may sound silly. We need Sun for our very living, but why do we need Moon? Don't tell me, moon causes tides blah blah.. Can't we live without moon?

Sometimes, i think, we are not thinking about anything and just going by what we read.. can some knowledgeable fellow (other than the one who whitened his teeth with permanent marker) please answer!!

The so called "new" calander is a hoax planted by by TPTB to get people at ease again for better control of the masses. Isn't it convenient how they just found it in an area they have been in for year.

3) The sun shifts its polarity every 11 years and we've survived thus far. The sun going quad is bullshit.

2) There is no evidence of human intelligence millions of years ago just as there is no evidence for alien intelligence. We are still pretty damn un-intelligent and anyone who says otherwise is narcissistic.

1) Mayans had no knowledge of the future. They may have been mathematically advanced at the time (barely compared to our mathematics) but their study of the stars was purely for tending their crops and identifying cycles so they wouldn't starve. It was still a very primitive understanding.

1) Yes

2) It's a cycle of 26,000 years

3) Nothing

4) The moon is not an actual moon but a hollow ship, though it does affect our tides.
Love is not the game, life is.

When we wake up in this "reality" every morning, we are actually falling asleep, because only in our dreams we are truly awake.
-
We are not our body, nor our mind. We are not the voice in our body, nor our head. We are the the here and now, experiencing without any input from either of the mentioned above.

It's not about others forgiving you, but whether you can forgive yourself.

I know i have a lot to work on. But knowing that there's no hairy ass man in the clouds to judge me when I have little bit of fun on the expense of someone elses ignorance, makes life a whole lot easier.

Re: Questions - Expecting good answers please
The "old" Mayan long count calendar didn't end on December 21, 2012!! It simply turned "13".

The Mayan calendar system based, as we understand it, is based largely on observations of astronomy and in particular the observation of planet Venus.

Since "13" happens to be an important number in the observations of both Venus and the Moon, the general assumption is that as the long count rolls to 13, on our modern Gregorian calendar date of 12/21/12, it must certainly mean something beyond the calendar simply rolling over to "13".

A more resonable "End Date" is actually when the long count leaves its "teens" and turns "20" on
Friday the 13th of October, 4772.

And you might even recognize tht date through the generally misunderstood Templar Knight mythology comes into synchonicity with that date.

and here's some quick math:
4772 - 1307 = 3465

But our modern logical brain of true/false has a really hard time grasping the artistic mythology that has been used to convey ancient scientific understanding!
"Why didn't they just say exactly what they mean?" is the question that plagues the mind like a virus, "Why did they create stories about people with the intention to represent ideas, concepts and facts?"

Truly understanding information which has been veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols takes a specific type of thinking! You either have it or you don't!

Exactly, i always wonder, why couldn't they say things straight.. in fact, no one does that, including nostradamus, he having known english! thats sad and bad.

Talk about vedas, which are even more complex and 100 scholars can make out 100 different meaningful stories from them.. i always wished if all that was just straight and to the point.
