We're grilling out tonight so yesterday we went to buy the food, and while I don't usually look at the price, Kroger only had 5 fillet Mignon steaks, we had to go to three different grocery stores...they should have whole fuck'n cows back it the meat department! Are we running out of cattle?

We buy the volume since most stores just carry grounf beef now adayswe still have a butcher shop in my small town, and I'm sure I could buy large quantities of steaks there, but a 16 ounce ribeye (which is fantastic from the butcher shop, BTW) is about $15 a piece. I'll usually buy two of those for my Wife and I and three chopped sirloin steaks for the kids.
