Chinese Euro 2012 Advertising (War Scenes)
Hello everybody.

Just stumbled over this video made in China advertising the Euro 2012 Soccer Championship in a rather odd way. Depicts Europe in ruins, bomber planes (An-24?), what looks like a tactical nuke, tanks, soldiers shooting rifles, robot mechas and a victorious (Asian?) looking soccer team.

I have no idea if it's a warning, a premonition of some sort, or just a really bad joke. Though the tune (a 'Slavyanka's Farewell' variation, the song used to send Soviet troops off to battles in WWII) is catchy and the animation looks well.

Have a look for yourself and share your opinions everyone.

If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes.

Chinese singing sure sounds awful.

That video is about glorying in their shame!

I stopped counting the DooM signs at the earthquake that was cracking up the soccer field. But how many did you count?

It looks a little like the recap of most all the DooM threads here on GLP, except Biological/Chemical attacks. But hey, that soccer ball looks pretty suspicious to me ^^

Chinese are obsessed with war, if you watch chinese TV all you'll see is war films or singing contests, plus they have 24/7 military channels showing in-depth analysis of possible future wars

Quoting my favorite song "Be Prepared!" At least it's better then soaps and other items of non-value on Western tv.
