The year 2012 isn't over and my world has already crashed and burned. My wife of 20 years told me she doesn't love me anymore asked me to leave. I find out I need major life threatening surgery and she wont help me recover. My 2 boys (7 and 9) treat me like Uncle Daddy. I live in constant pain. So My world has ended the rest of you have to catch up.

I am a believer in Christ and the Bible says no one knows when the end will be, and face it, when lots of people expect something to happen, it doesn't. And that's how it's ALWAYS going to be, because people are insignificant compared to the higher power. We aren't going to be privy to such info. The end will come when it comes, but it's not going to happen all of a sudden for us all. I think we have not seen tribulations yet. I think things are getting near for us all, but not Dec 21st near. We are reaching a boiling point where something life-changing for us all is going to happen. If I think anything about 2012 it's that there is going to be some kind of change, for better or worse. I cannot see it being for the better though. Show me one instance of how our lives have truly gotten better over time, from a global standpoint, at least on a spiritual level. We are falling deeper into the cesspool of sin, without boundaries, people are becoming dumber and more base, more evil, more ways to do the evil. I think people who are expecting a positive change in consciousness need a reality check. Nothing will get better. I've lost all hope in mankind.

I'm sorry to hear this. Is your wife on any kind of antidepressants by chance? I was on one once, and decided I didn't love my husband anymore. It was horrible, I became someone I am not at all and to this day I am suffering the consequences of 8 months on Wellbutrin. Your boys are young, you can connect with them, be very close to them , physically and otherwise, spend as much time as possible with them, don't see it as boring, let yourself go, forget everything else and just be with them, don't let thoughts of anything else creep up. Your wife might come to her senses. Don't chase her, better yourself and practice spiritual enlightenment, focus on forgiving her, and yourself, and just learn to feel happy again on your own. I can't believe she is abandoning you when you need life threatening surgery though, that is awful. But 20 yrs tells me she does care about you, so I really dont get it and that's why I ask if she is on meds.
