I personally believe the OP has a point. This is why:

1.) I believe 911 was perpetrated for specific reasons. To gain more control over the population over the entire world via creation of a national security state here and worldwide. It was a good reason to continue to prepare for continuity of government which was started under REAGAN and a lot of it is still top secret.

2.) All nations are desperately trying to hold together their failing economies and there is a lot of inter-nation cooperation in the background.

3.) The people running things are not stupid they know by prolonging this failing system things will only be worse yet they continue to do so. Why allow a financial collapse just before a cataclysm if it can be helped?

4.) Terrence McKenna (Timeline Zero) stated we have been living in our future since WW2(using our nat. res. at too rapid rate). Timeline Zero and the Mayan calender both end in Dec. 2012.

5.) The chemtrails are most likely filtering out excessive cosmic rays coming from the galactic center. They do correlate with excessive solar activity.

6.) Why all the apocalyptic movies, news, documentaries, etc. The MSM is preparing us subconsciously or consciously.

7.) Thing have gotten extremely strange since 911. I believe the NWO is a cover for the New Order of the Ages. I find nothing wrong with the Georgia Guidestones(in fact it all sounds good) except for how the population will be reduced to .5B. If it is a cosmic event that would explain it.

Me too (even though I am only 30) however I believe our minds have been conditioned to believe that 'change' is a very slow and drawn out process (much like the Darwinian theory of evolution suggests). However I think the big 'secret' is that change/evolution/growth can manifest itself in the 'blink of an eye' with help from a 'cosmic influence'. So while many are sitting around believing this but thinking they will be 'dead' before any meaningful 'changes' are manifested, I suggest they should attempt to 'think again'. : )
