Yeah, I liked Art's Dreamland on Sunday evenings. I've listened to Coast regularly since 1995 (not something to brag about lol). Originally, Art's Coast to Coast AM used to broadcast live from 11 pm to 4 am (Pacific time). Five hours! And then Dreamland on Sunday night. I liked the introduction music for Dreamland. Art's old shows had an air of mystery and the unknown to it. I agree with the poster who wrote that Noory's Coast has the tone (and smell? lol) of an over 80 target demographic. Either that, or a Romper Room demographic. I can't decide which.

They cut us off here in Dallas, 570 AM stopped broadcastinngthe damnn show! I have been listning since it was the Art Bell show back in the mid 80s. Liked Nory at the begginning, but he is just a twisted Arab! Fuck him! I hate Punnit even more...stupid idiots! The other George is good though.

I know you guys that listen to Coast most nights may remember when he first started. I had pages of notes listing STUPID things he said. I knew right away he was an idiot and we were all going to suffer.

These days on virtually every subject he says, "I've ALWAYS believed 'blah blah blah' since I was a little kid." No topic is off the list as to it being Snoory's favorite all of his life. He is such a clown and maybe one day Knapp (or maybe somebody with a brain) will take over and make it a great show again

We need a new Art Bell and John B Wells is NOT it.

First off, yes, he is much better than Snoory, no argument whatsoever.

But he is still a terrible interviewer and he plays way too much freaking music! It's bad enough half the show is ads, now with what little air time they leave for the actual show they are playing near full songs?!? So now you listen for 8 minutes of ads, come back for a 10 second blurb, go to another ad, and then play a WHOLE SONG and only then, finally, 15 minutes into the hour we are back to the show, but for 10 minutes of content before they go to yet another break at the bottom of the hour.

It's a joke. There is no content anymore. You can't have a real conversation with the show so fragmented.

I'm talking about what others on here know too well. He cuts off callers before he should - and when the guest of the night sometimes asks the caller to clarify something Snoory says, err, we lost him/her, or they hung up, or I don't know where they went etc.

Anon Coward, if you don't know what I'm saying is true - then your IQ is even lower than Snoory's.

Oh, I listen to the show 'cause sometimes on occasions I like the topic or the guest. Snoory was given a hit show and has ruined it for all of us.

If you are not familiar with how George cuts off callers after they ask their question so that:

1. the caller doesn't add more
2. the guest can't ask the caller a question

(he does this to keep the show moving along so he has time to digress with one of his off personal views)

...then, I contend that you are just haven't been listening long or often enough - cause it's hard to miss.
So, just sit back and learn from the 'O.C.'s' (original Coasties).

Yes, and it was still entertaining even if Art thought it to be a fake, and that sixth sense always kicked when Art was skeptical, you could hear in his voice whether he believed what he was being told, great radio persona, really miss that show, it was good entertainment.
