OP, I agree. I have been married to the same man for 20 years. I don't believe people should have sex outside of marriage, as the diseases that are spread also cause cell changes which lead to more serious diseases than just std's.

Gone are the days of chivalry, poetry, holding hands and true old fashioned romance. Casual sex is like chewing gum - and there is a lot of abc gum all over the place.

I believe in loving one man. For better or worse. In sickness and health. Til death do us part.

I had a responsible and active sex life, met my husband, have been monogamous for 13 years, two kids we take very good care of, and stick through the times when we aren't perfectly fond of each other. I know I have more strength as a mom now because I have already sewed my oats, as did hubby. We know there is nothing we are missing in the single life. Watch the labels and generalizations you throw out. Many women are good people in many ways. We have a right to be sexual in responsible ways just as men always have. Many of you sound very misogynistic and that is not cool.

If Stone Age women didn't have out-of-wedlock babies you and me wouldn't even be here.
