Women after about 40 (menopause starts kicking in) do begin to have issues both physically and emotionally. You lose the PMS and gain the hot flashes. The transition begins about 35, as female hormones begin to decline and testosterone begins to be more noticeable.

There's so much testosterone in meats today compared to the past that this may also affect some women even in their 20s... more aggressive, larger clits, more body hair, etc.

I'm a 43 yr old man and I agree 100%. The MAN is SUPPOSED to be the leader, protector, lover and life giver to his family. Buying the kids an XBOX and modern warfare, the wife a computer and missing the leader, life giver part with an occasional lover part isn't going to get it. What woman with a half a brain would follow the sports obsessed "man" of today? Where is the wisdom and leadership that guides the family through a happy healthy prosperous life? The men are supposed to be the strong ones being less emotional and more equipted to fight the mental temptations and other person attempts to steer things off track that we all deal with.The protector. I am so very glad to hear that:) I agree that it is orchestrated and women are not blameless in this mess. I look at it all and think why would we expect anyone to be able to grow up in this society and be able to get what marriage really means.

I am at a low point with this myself. I should be doing more housework and playing with the kids more but after 16 years (10 of that being with someone who literally barely allows me out of the house). I comply with his unspoken "rules" partly because I am doing my best to be a submissive wife (nothing religious, just the role I think the woman agrees to in marriage) and partly because I know all of the different bullshit I will have to put up with just to be let out of my prison/home. I think if every man showed his wife respect and love for their whole marriage (and of course she reciprocated:), their children wouldn't have to be "taught" how to be good spouses, that is all they would know or desire. If parents bought 2.5 acres of land for each of their children and established a small home for them there, their children could move into their own home when they were ready and start preparing their homestead. Establishing an ecosystem on their land growing food, herbs/medicines and preparing themselves for their future spouse would make them much more noble and respectful people without the burdens of financial stresses that so often impair young people to a point of debilitation. This is what parents should be giving their children instead of a college education. If they want to go to college, they can get a job and pay for their tuition since most of their living expenses would already be covered i.e food, water, shelter. I just wish I had known this is where I should have started when I turned 18 instead of wandering out into this vast, horrible world to find my purpose when it was waiting within me all along. If I can do anything for my children before I leave this world, it will be this.

I agree with everything. I hope I can provide that kind of security for my kids. Once shelter is taken care of, it is so much easier to survive, though certainly not easy if there will be no jobs then. Who knows. Either way, they can live with me as long as they need to or want to. I think parents should try to do this sort of thing for their kids. Enough of this shoving them out into the world to go "make their way." Having a helping hand helps them enormously in so many ways. I will be happy to help them.
