This maybe taboo but I work for the FAA in OKC and we received an email about it. First hand knowledge. Wow, well...hope you won't get into trouble for talking about it! I'll try to Google and see if I can find something...what you could do is perhaps put a portion of your email into Google search and see if someone else has posted it somewhere? I would have to guess at least a few other people may be weirded out by it. |

Wow, Interesting. As far as me putting up a copy of the email, I'm not going to do that. At least not yet. I'm afraid I might get in trouble. Frankly I'm wondering if I might get in trouble for just the info I put out although I doubt it because it is an Emergency Readiness scenario. It just seems odd to me that they would choose a scenario about a meteor strike. I'm also surprised there are no other people on here that work for the FAA that could corroborate my info. |

When I Googled, the only thing I came up with was that news article, which could be what they are recreating. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1950229 blindfold, cigarette? LOL, Yes... Good question. The info in the email just said that on the 24th of may the FAA would be holding an Emergency Readiness exercise for OKC and Fort-worth. The scenario was: NASA warned us about a possible meteor strike in the Oklahoma/Texas area. There was no info on what would be taking place or if we needed to do anything. My guess would be that we would all go down into the basement until we get the all clear. I will not be at work tomorrow so I wont have first hand knowledge of what we had to do at the Academy in OKC. I will call tomorrow and find out what took place. |

I've had experiences with UFO's (exact definition)(Can't explain what I saw). However I have always tried to keep an open mind about such things and do research. I am just confused by the Scenario that the government chose to use in this situation. Makes one wonder... do they know something we don't? |
