Yes and the reason why the mainstream sites are slowly rolling out these "Planet X" articles and 'possibilities'... So that it's not going to be too much of a shock to the masses when this information comes to fruition. Warming up for a big reveal.

In every operation, whether planning it or executing it, you can never count on luck; but you have to accept it, and recognize it when it’s there.

OK, this is getting a little warmer. Remember the Dragon spacecraft that was just launched to international space station? This would be a great cover. First type of this rocket being used would give plausible excuse if it were to have an "accident."

from spaceweather:
"During the early hours of May 25th, the Dragon will approach the docking port on the station's Harmony module. Because this is the Dragon's first visit to the ISS, mission controllers will proceed with caution. A detailed series of navigation and communication tests will be performed before the capsule is allowed to move close enough for astronauts to grab it with the robot arm and connect it to the station."

It is not hot yet, but it is getting pretty damn warm!

Here is some additional detail about the officials/agencies that would have been coordinating in the OP's stated Emergency Readiness Scenario (meteor strikes impacting PK and TX) that was scheduled for May 24th.

The FAA Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regions and Center Operations (ARC) reports to the FAA Assistant Administrator for Finance & Management and leads a nation-wide organization through a headquarters office in Washington, D.C., nine regional offices strategically located across the country, and the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City.

The Southwest Region includes the states of NM, TX, OK, AR, and LA. The Southwest Regional Office is located in Fort Worth, TX.

The FAA website states that the operations of the regions and the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City include providing government, Department of Transportation, and FAA-wide services in:

- emergency readiness (command, control, and communications)
- public and governmental outreach

Here's a list of the nine regions and the location of their regional office:

Alaskan Region (Anchorage, AK)
Northwest Mountain Region (Renton, WA)
Western Pacific Region (Hawthorne, CA)
Southwest Region (Fort Worth, TX)
Central Region (Kansas City, MO)
Great Lakes Region (Chicago, IL)
Southern Region (Atlanta, GA)
Eastern Region (FAA Headquarters, Washington, D.C.)
New England Region (Burlington, MA)

There is a map that shows the different regions and the states involved in each region at this link:

Not much happened.
Most people had to do nothing.
Some of the upper level management were required to login to their systems from home.

Very strange.
Not sure why everyone got the email about the exercise if they were not required to do anything....

I'm a skeptic about most conspiracy's and ufo/paranormal activity.
I've had experiences with UFO's (exact definition)(Can't explain what I saw).
However I have always tried to keep an open mind about such things and do research.

I am just confused by the Scenario that the government chose to use in this situation.
Makes one wonder... do they know something we don't?
 Quoting: mikebo2

Of course they know something you dont. At the highest levels, that includes thousands of topics. Many topics that are thought to be fiction by Society, but are working systems. agent

Sounds to me like a classic case of an excuse to do some tinkering on the home computers via the VPN to the workplace.

Question is why are they so concerned with the information FAA employees might or might not be sending back and forth between each other, or what employees might be doing online.
