THE DELIBERATE 'DUMBING' DOWN OF AMERICA (VIDEO WITHIN) | |
| mr2 User ID: 16602204 05/24/2012 06:23 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks for my 1st good laugh of the day! :) I'm a teacher and by the time they get to HS a lot of damage is done. I give them assignments which are intended to have them practice what we are learning and 90% of them are totally dumbfounded. The few who are with it sit there in disbelief and look very bored. Classes are overcrowded and students must be LED BY THE HAND to do absolutely everything. I cannot simplify my curriculum any more because then I'd be teaching 4th grade content in HS. I should add that the majority of the students do not care if they fail, are extremely disrespectful to themselves and others, and feel very entitled to be entertained as opposed to educated. I blame the video games for that. The future will be a scary time. My wife teaches kindergarten this year, and out of 30 kids, only 6 made national bench marks. Dumb makes dumb....I never used to think so....but...evidence is mounting. Bad DNA combined with bad parenting skills = disaster...not just for the U.S. but for us all. |

I blame the video games for that. The future will be a scary time. Scary is the fact that educators would rather make a paycheck instead deal with the changing population of kids TODAY. YOU chose to take on the task of educating them. If they have cell phones and find your class boring, liven it up. It's your job to to keep the kids focused. You are being paid about 60k a year to do this correct? Times change and our kids are half nuts due to involuntary immunizations and environmental garbage they inhale daily. Deal with it and then tell me who's actually making the future scary k? SMILE...you're not as stupid as they think you are! "Once a government is committed to the principal of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in terror" - Harry S Truman "The single most inspiring source for us is the human struggle." Properly used, it is the most important essential of civilization.” - Napoleon Hill “Failures see the hole in the donut, but do not see the donut around the hole.” - Napoleon Hill “One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results.” ― Milton Friedman Every man has a right to utter what he thinks is truth, and every other man has a right to knock him down for it. - Samuel Johnson |

You're shameful. You must be a retard POS if you think teachers don't care about their students. I was one, and my wife IS one....She works tirelessly for those dip shit brain dead retards, to no avail. Dumb begets dumb...and there is nothing anyone can do about that. Smart will learn, inspite of what they are taught, but the rest... need time and nurturing...fat chance of that, as most of the teaching time is spent dealing (most likely) with your dumb shit kids. How about you take responsibility for a change. We did! Our kids get their education from us and then, (hopefully) from school. You want to be a parent? Then you bloody well need to pull your finger out and be one!. |

I was surprised to learn they are being taught theories as facts. Example: The diatonic system of notation is too complicated for middle school kids. So they teach, read and compose music from a pentatonic scale. Do your absolute best and the rest is fate. |

Right. Not to mention that when faced with an argument which requires a cogent, insightful, rational, polite. critically thought out reply one receives the kindergarten rallying cries of "F*uck tard", "FU asshole", "suck my D*ck asswipe" etc...etc... Foolishly I've attempted to actually "speak" and "reason" with these monkeys expecting some ethereal mystic power to bring these animals to their senses. The kinder, more polite and rational I am the more they want to fight, "F*ck you..." and hate. I have wisely come to the only logical conclusion which is that, on the rare occasions there is communication between us, I MUST SPEAK TO THE GORILLAS IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE. I hate it but it seems to be the only way to communicate with monkeys and other various forms of animals or sub-human life forms. . . |

Quoting: Mister Obvious Thread: Nurse refuses student inhaler during asthma attack My mom pulled me out of school because I was bitten by a mosquito (which I'm allergic to) and was ballooning up, could barely breathe and the teacher wouldn't let me go to the nurses office. When I got home from school I was barely breathing and starting to pass out so had to be taken to the hospital. When the teacher was confronted she just said "he shouldn't of been bitten by a mosquito" when confronted further she said "It ain't my job, I'm a teacher not no nurse" the argument culminated in her saying "hope you get bitten by a mosquito too, bitch. I'm a teacher I KNOW what I'm doin', you don't know shit YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT! WHAT I SAY? YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT!" Forgot that part.
