99% of Breast Cancer Contains This (Not Aluminum) (Applies to Sunscreen, too!) | |
Anonymous Coward 05/24/2012 07:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is an excellent article and very eye opening. I don't use too many parabens in my daily routine because I know they are horrible... I've tried to get all my products down to all natural. But I just want to add here that I used to use your typical aluminum etc. laden antiperspirant deodorant... And I used to get a terrible swelling/knot in my breast, along with pain in my armpit and sometimes even a knot in my armpit. This happened over the span of several years that I used the shit. About 3 years ago, I cut out aluminum etc. antiperspirant, and now only use NaturallyFresh (it and variants are available at a lot of stores). I have literally never had the breast/armpit flare up OR soreness, ever again. Antiperspirants are horrific and I feel so bad that so many women (and men) use them and may not ever link any possible glandular problems to it. |
Anonymous Coward 05/24/2012 07:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | And just as a side note... A lot of people may be apprehensive about going with a natural deodorant because they think they'll be plagued with armpit odor, their sweating might get worse, whatever... I just want you to know that your body WILL ADJUST TO THE CHANGE. It takes usually 2 weeks to a month. Your body will eventually adjust and you'll have less of a problem with odor than you have ever had before... as for the sweating, well guess what YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FUCKING SWEAT. |

It was the movie "Batman" where they stopped wearing make-up etc, it was because Jack Nicholson (the Joker) had poisoned the cosmetics if combined etc. In "They Live" the people looked messed up because they were aliens or something (not really aliens...that movie was about "other folks" that manipulate the public, but they couldn't really say it...so they made them "aliens" to be more PC). |

I'd rather sweat a little and have no pain than no sweat and lots of pain |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 14392840 United States 05/24/2012 08:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to articles.mercola.com] Quoting: Sandi_T New research examining parabens found in cancerous human breast tissue points the finger at antiperspirants and other cosmetics for increasing your risk of breast canceri. The research, which is also reviewed in an editorial published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology, looked at where breast tumors were appearing, and determined that higher concentrations of parabens were found in the upper quadrants of the breast and axillary area, where antiperspirants are usually appliedii. Parabens are chemicals that serve as preservatives in antiperspirants and many cosmetics, as well as sun lotions. Previous studies have shown that all parabens have estrogenic activity in human breast cancer cells. (Much more at link, 50%+ rule observed) Women who are fatter naturaly, (carry more sensitive fatty tissue) Need to stay away from all the crap and get into natural stuff I even see women buying up all the spray air fresheners all the time and the fragrances and perfume. It was a spray air freshener that was sprayed into a room and in two weeks my pet rats had seizures and died. |
