The other 799,997 folks were on the ground looking at primitive graphic screens that had a few specific items: This guy was reading "fuel pressure"; the guy next to him, "temperature", etc. Those numbers could have come from a simulation, as they had all the equipment in place to run simulations, and had done so for many months before. |
