We live in Texas and my truck's AC took a crap two years ago. I finally saved up enough bread to get the compressor and got it running again last weekend. Jusr in damn time too....

I've been AC-less for years and you get used to it. Being stuck in stop and go traffic is the only time I curse myself for not getting the AC charged. Better for the environment and my gas bill if I don't use AC so I am going to try to make it through this summer as well.
