All of you should know, A Friend sent some very nice info that, otherwise, normal people would not share, especially in this format...

...that took guts and trust. I can not tell how privileged I feel right now. I have met with two other GLP'ers and would love to meet a third.

( on a side note, A Friend, awkwardness sums it up....I'll just wave )

Next time you are going to that area give me some time to organize funds and I'll take a road trip... don't forget to try some boudin!

Medium sized engineered building site for 9 weeks...somebody messed up so I, and my crew, get to go in and show them they should have spent their money correctly the first time.

Lesson learned...you get what you pay for. Now they'll end up paying 15-18% more than if they had just made the diligent decision in the first place.

I can't help but wonder RaXz if you are referring to the people in Burma.

About five years ago I flew into Yangon, smuggling video cameras and cash for the Democratic Voice of Burma, funded by friends in Australia. Believing with all my heart it was for the greater good, fighting that regime. But now Buddhists slaughtering innocent people.

Now feeling so sick about it.

We never do know which side is the "good" side do we? Sometimes those who we thought were good can only take so much before they say enough is enough and they can go no further.

Buddhist monks you must remember were taught by the very first buddha to meditate but they also learned the martial arts by watching the animals fighting. They did this to stay awake during meditation but they also did this so that the thieves on the roads could not rob them.

They learn to fight. They would rather not, but they learn how and will fight when it is absolutely necessary.

Seriously, I went to Rwanda and it was the same awful thing. If the white people had stayed out of there they had lived in peace for 1000's of years and they had had 4 genocides since. It makes your blood boil. It really does.
