Wow I'd be so thrilled if I saw a real live Kookaburra in my back yard!

Sunday mornings . . . they always feel good.

Have a great day everyone :)

Re: Are you a thread killer?
What shall we say of these terrible things
We circle a wasteland devoid of brass rings
A buggy Zim man with bruised potato head
Shot all dem red skittles grape boy he be dead

I went to the store the other night
I saw a rent a cop get in a terrible fight
He had spilled his milk all over the place
The Arab store owner was right in his face

"You pays the moneys you dropped my good milk
The uniform you wear isn't made out of silk
You may think you're so whiter than me
But I came from war to land of the free."

The rent a cop was seething a temple vein throb
"Fuck you, you Hadji" and he spit a big gob
"I'll jump this shit counter and smash in your nose
I'm so sick of seeing you camel fuck moes"

The store owner pulled a blue gun from his drawer
The rent a cop fell gasping minimum wage no more
I slipped away and walked down the street
I felt weighed and heavy slouched on my feet

What shall we say of these terrible things
We circle a wasteland devoid of brass rings
A buggy Zim man with bruised potato head
Shot all dem red skittles grape boy he be dead

Re: Are you a thread killer?
My parents said you rang their door
looking to find me again no more
You were torn and tattered and high again
my mother said you burned your last friend

They took you in and gave you a meal
they didn't care if you had to steal
You took their couch and cried all night
my father said you had lost your fight

When morning came you had gone
you had written the words from a sad sweet song
You left the words flat on a table
my parents searched for you in pimp willie's stable

They didn't tell me you had come
I would have flown, I would have run
To hold you again to the end of time
My one, my true, my love of mine

They called me just the other day
there really wasn't much to say
Your body was found in Astoria Park
twisted and broken in shadows dark

I wake each morning and live my life
I think you'd like my lovely wife
I carry you in my secret place
And still I seek your lovely face

Those two some amazing poems be
scratched my heart to bleed
words captured from a world gone wrong
twisted and torn onto a blank staring page
beings that can care
keep us afloat
when crosses burn holes in men's eyes.

Glad to hear it DB.

I had a family weekend in the city, was very satisfying too, (especially cuddling with a baby!) can't believe our weather atm, very warm for winter.

Nice to be home, without enough solitude I get worn out.
It's warm here too, I don't even need any heating tonight :)

As Mac says, may this find you all well and happy

Good Morning Lovely Thread Killers!flower

Isn't this just the coolest thing?! Would make life in underdeveloped countries/villages SO much easier - not having to gather fire wood, or money to pay for coal, etc. But using it anywhere for anyone thumbs.

Solar Grills/heaters
David Wilson, a professor at MIT, came up with this barbecue requiring no use of firewood, coal, gas or electricity to operate. It uses only solar power - perfect for the city or rural communities. Solar powered battery lasts 25 hours between recharging.
