Feel sorry for the religious people especially Muslims and the chosen ones jewish people ..... all hell could break loose ,I could see why they would try to keep it a secret
Quoting: What if ? It wouldn't make any difference. Once an idea is so firmly rooted in someones mind, they will not dismiss it (aliens or not). Look at the proven existence of Dinosaurs, the round Earth, evolution, etc, etc, etc. If people still believe in their respective Gods, they always will, no matter what. You can't change that. If aliens land, they'll re-interpret a passage of the Bible and incorporate the aliens into it, saying "The Bible never said aliens didn't exist". And so on.
