Just curious What happens to Religion if Aliens is proven to exist ?

Since a number of 'aliens' (creatures not from earth) are described in the Bible, including a flying being covered with eyes, I'd assume it would have no effect on a Christian versed in the Bible.

Unfortunately many Christians are caught up with their particular interpretation of the scriptures, and have not yet learned the basic rules Biblical hermeneutics (Biblical interpretation) to figure it out on their own.

Moreover the current rash of alien contacts are more akin to demon possession than anything else. Thus almost a priori the coming alien 'disclosure' will be designed to make souls fall away from the faith.

Turning in for the night my eyes hurt ,,If aliens ever do show up in full force - for me personally my religious beliefs go straight down the drain.

I would definitely be interested in their religion especially if they have thousand of more years of evolution than us.

Aliens do not have to land to cause one to find a passage in the Bible that describes them. The Bible has already described them in detail before they have even made their "planned" public display. It is found in Matthew 24:24 and is a perfect description; claiming to have come to save mankind as some kind of christ (false christs), proclaiming a better life for mankind (false prophecy) and working great signs and wonders (modern technology). Doing all three things at the same time. Evil clones, cloned from fallen angels! I have been ready for them for quite a while now. They want us to think that they come from different planets. Not so. They have no existing planet as their homes. All inhabited planets in the Universe are inhabited by "HUMANS" only who are not clones.

Actually, it says a lot in regards to alien beings. Most importantly that demons came down from the heavens and laid with human women and created a race of giants which became extinct in the great flood. It doesn't put the history channel spin on the story though. It describes them as angels that became jealous of humans and our creator. There are tons of explanations in there for our "conspiracy theories" and fringe ideas. I used to describe myself as an athiest until I read the bible for myself. Honestly, if you are here at glp it is more than likely that you realize that something is terribly wrong with the world. The bible provides answers to those questions and many more. The big problem is that most people don't take the time or effort to read it for themselves and get to know our creator or his perspective on everything.

The main reason of the ET coverup is due to religions.

There is a natural certain process for life and death for all of us.

There is most definitely complex great meaning in and of life however nothing that Earth has come to be programmed into.

India for example the population is only 2.3% Christian, yet over 80% Hinduism.
Or take Greece for example.. 97% are Christian.
What makes the percentages the way that they are?
It's the programming that they've born into and people don't have to ability to be free thinkers.
It's the culture you're born into that programs you!
How many people actually research and study MOST of the human religions before choosing one?
Go ahead, ask around.. you won't find many people who have.


All of this that you see is a program, look objectively and logically at it all and you'll see it for what it truly is.

All religions will have to rethink. The churches and religious leader will lose influence. No church wants this.
Many humans will recognize that there is only a big humanity. National borders as relics of the past have no more meaning. This knowledge will be very prejudicial to the power game of the crown.
Many scientists look at the humanity as a crown of the creation. With the landing of the aliens, I can fancy figuratively the reaction of brilliant and approved scientists: Confused they will wrestle with the problem to find an explanation, only to preserve their familiar theories and concepts.

jesus would instantly become an alien, they of course always knew that aliens existed and jesus was one, we are all still going to hell... miss anything?

I know Hinduism is also based on a belief, that the creator is not of this world, so they wouldn't have any problems with aliens, probably on the contrary.

And Buddhists believe in higher realm spirits so I'd guess they'r OK with aliens as well.

Also both of these religions are polytheist, that helps them to adapt and co-exist.

Religions with monotheism and strict belief that they are the chosen people WILL have a problem however. So yeah jewish people, Christians, Islam etc...
