Why conclude that the bible was mistranslated instead of misunderstood as words change through time perhaps we are not interpreting correctly.
Perhaps the hell refers to returning to earth to learn lessons that people failed to learn the first time and life really is the ultimate school of hard knocks.

Misinterpretation lead to false doctrine. Simple. Your mind is stuck in false doctrine thus negating free concerning free will and in my opinion, your belief is too rigid and set in your mind. If we watched the same movie, would we gravitate to the same conclusion on all components and meanings within the movie I think not? Life experiences guide us to a particular conclusion and revisiting the movie years later might open our eyes to things previously unseen.
