I agree with you to a point. But I have seen my family marry into well-off, somewhat influential families (in their towns, not like famous bloodlines though)and I see misery mostly. My aunt married someone very well off and had everything she wanted and her kids had the best schools etc..........but she left it all to live in a tiny house and worked her way back up. Herself. And now she is with someone whom she truly loves. The rich uncle is miserable and has been his whole life. I am just saying influence and money is not where it is at at the end of the day. Though it would be fun to be there a while, it does not make for a happy life. But I think you guys are saying the children deserve to grow up in that. But my cousins were unhappy with cars, money etc. Now they are happier/like regular people. And they do not respect their father-as they know all he wanted was the wrong things.
