Settle4It, meant to say hi earlier. How are you? I don't understand how you guys think you can just go and choose the perfect mate to help your family line. I see your point/but HOW are you supposed to do this? Not that I will, I am just curious. You both seem very smart and I like to listen to how you think. Thanks :)
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12842609 Hi!!! In all honesty...No one wishes to marry into poverty...You do NOT wake up one day and say..."Oh gee...I want to be poor! I want my children too suffer also!"...You want the best life you can have...Your children can have...And so on...Although I do think 'Bloodlines' are set from days past...It is a natural thing too see someone of a known 'Name' and be interested...You cannot MAKE someone love you...But there are forces in play that HELP with the line... Quoting: Settle4It I agree with you to a point. But I have seen my family marry into well-off, somewhat influential families (in their towns, not like famous bloodlines though)and I see misery mostly. My aunt married someone very well off and had everything she wanted and her kids had the best schools etc..........but she left it all to live in a tiny house and worked her way back up. Herself. And now she is with someone whom she truly loves. The rich uncle is miserable and has been his whole life. I am just saying influence and money is not where it is at at the end of the day. Though it would be fun to be there a while, it does not make for a happy life. But I think you guys are saying the children deserve to grow up in that. But my cousins were unhappy with cars, money etc. Now they are happier/like regular people. And they do not respect their father-as they know all he wanted was the wrong things. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12842609 Even in wealth unhappiness dwells...Humans are humans...Rich or poor...Emotions are the same Quoting: Settle4It That is my point. That is why it is better to be poor with someone you truly love. That is what matters :)
