If you computer is infected with the dns changer virus you will no longer be able to access the internet.



What happened is hackers took over computers and directed them to a dns that sends them to bogus pages.


The FBI took over the hackers DNS servers and turned them into real DNS servers.


Now the FBI is shutting down the DNS servers completely. So if you still have a virus that is directing you to the hackers DNS pages you will no longer be able to access the internet.


Fix your computer.

So what? You depend on a business like Google to provide a service and they define their own rules. Whats new?

i think this is a good thing. prevents infected computers on the internet and prvents spreading to others. its like an ultimatum to clean your pc.

Correct the DNS in the infected PC - good
ANYTHING ELSE - bad

and it will be reconnected by FBI backdoor system which will allow them to spy on every one...
