Your take on "ringing of the ears"
What do you think this is?

This happens randomly to me. In the middle of conversation, while i driving my car, when im reading. It happens outdoors and in closed spaces. I cant explain it at all. It usually lasts for 10 seconds and then goes away.

Some have said this is a spiritual experience, kind of like a spirit is trying to communicate to me. I guess you can relate it to looing at the clock at 11:11.

I dont know. What are your thoughts?

Re: Your take on "ringing of the ears"
caused by trauma of the hairs inside your ear.... definitely not supernatural. But you'll never hear that frequency again.

One time, though, it felt like ringing not in my ears, but inside my head. The ringing turned into electricity and I felt the two 'nodes' connect and my head filled with a blast of buzzy electric energy and I felt elated and super relaxed for a little bit. It was when I was meditating before going to bed.... pretty cool.

Re: Your take on "ringing of the ears"
theres a difference between the ringing in the ears phenomenom and tinnitus.
I experience both, the tinnitus I don't pay attention to, until I go to sleep and theres no noise, the ringing is very different, you can almost feel it, and it has a shorter duration than the tinnitus, which never goes away.

I've seen a lot post about the ringing in the ears and it seems people experience it more than they have before.

I have had it since I was a child, and im doing fine, so it's not dangerous, in my case atleast :p

If you have never experienced it, I can understand that you might be slightly freaked out hehe, it can be distracting, but your not the only one experiencing it, I think we all experience it once in a while :o)

It seems to be happening a LOT to me all of a sudden. that is why i poseted it. I have read up on it a little and some like to connect it to spiritual awakening.

It is also note worthy to mention that as people get older, their ability to hear high frequency sounds (ringing) fades away.

There have been instances where i hear a high pitched noise coming form my mothers palm pilot (remember those?) and she couldnt hear it.

Do you get numbers, OP?

Are you ever thinking about something and someone on TV or radio or something will say something that seems oddly pertinent to what you where thinking?

By numbers I mean 11:11, 4:44, or whatever.

I had a number sighting immediately after looking away from my previous post.

I think basically it's signs of an increasing connection or communication between your Earthly persona and a section of you that resides in another plane of existence.

AFAIK, anyway.

I got rid of the cordless phones and that helped but didn't eliminate the ringing.

I love it when the power goes out as the ringing is reduced significantly.
