To me, this was terrible evidence for truth of biblical story. The guy found suffer balls and ash.

3) The link presented shows psychology of how people become convinced of the truth of their fantasy. Nobody is above it, but some are more susceptible. Critical thinking and faith are diametrically opposed.

Ok, I played along. That was a total waste of 15 minutes of my life. You can't just walk up to some rocks and declare it's Abraham's alter. If anything, this should scare you. I believe we are emerging from ignorance, and that using my ability to rationalize the world around me is of greater value than accepting these ridiculous stories pawned off as truth. I believe in standing bold against the usurpation of the human intellect. Man is better than this, and we can't be until those who wish to use us are thoroughly dispelled out midst. At least, that's how christians see it. They fail to understand that there are several different entities out there, not just God and Satan. It sucks to be them, really, their beliefs on what is outside of the physical is a very empty and unpopulated one...which is not the truth at all.
