This is as bad as it gets, the Fed could end up bailing out the Eurozone.

I can't believe I just said that.
 Quoting: King David 16716695

A foreign prime minister already said it, and when it appeared in the foreign newspaper Geithner denied it.

Well, they can afford greece going broke.

But not italy or spain .. those will take the euro and the EU down.

So they switched strategy, from keeping greece alive to making a clear statement, a devastating example with greece to the other PIIGS.

If i were in greece i would expect things to get way worse... on purpose.

We ll see how things will pan out tbh. You are correct that this is an exemplary punishment though. Most Greeks have accepted bankruptcy and poverty. It's the banks and the elite that they haven't accepted these things yet. But this game of putting all the Greeks in the same boat as tax evaders is getting ridiculous by now. Low and middle class Greeks are taxed at source, they cannot evade taxation. It's the 1-2% of the elite and the corrupt political system that is not paying their fair share and the lower classes are now taxed to extinction because of this.

I think the current European Union will fall and be reshaped with Germany at the helm of it all.

I feel we may be watching the rise of Germany to rule the European Union. Let's see how the cards fall and are restacked.

Who knew or called this one?

Germans nowadays don't want to lead others countries or a Union, they just want to work and have peace and freedom.

I'd suggest a European wide poll:

United States of Europe like the US model
or
The complete dismantling of the EU and back to different currencies.

This is the time to think about stocking up on food and supplies.

While I don't think we are going to see war (in Europe), we are going to see economic migrations, food & fuel shortages, more unemployment, and general chaos including large riots. Borders are going to be closed. In the case of the UK, this will probably happen ridiculously late and after a couple of million have already entered the country (because we have gutless incompetents running our country).

You can not just "write off" Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy and others in the southern half of Europe, and expect them to just sit back and accept bankruptcy. If I couldn't put food on the table for my kids, I would go nuts. That's what is going to happen... a short period of extreme chaos and upheaval. Unfortunately, events like this in the past have tended to bring extremists into power.

Lloyd's is probably one of THE most malignant despotic cartels on the planet.

When a Rothchild/Banker gambling, murder, espianoge, mind-control, brain-washing, child molester, despot organization like this makes a statement, everyone should take notice.

However since the European Union is responsible for the current financial collapse, this may be part of the strategy of their control grid.

Problem-Reaction-Soloution

1) Creat the PROBLEM (The financial collapse)

2) Control the REACTION (Months/Years of News/Articles/Publications)

3) Provide the SOLOUTION (Yet to come)

These Mind-Cotrol Sociopaths are completing their plan, they are preparing the move to Stage 3.

As the EU collapses, the U.S, dollar WILL follow in short order.

Then, like KNIGHTS riding great BEASTS the same Psychopaths that started this debacle will provide (by force?) the soloution?

You're right a huge amount of migration... it's happening now. We're a British family who own and home and business in Spain but we're returning at the end of June. There are estimated to be 5.5 million British expats living throughout Europe. All the expats I know are making plans to return.

Many Germans and Dutch are leaving/have left too.

Many Spanish are making plans to move to Germany because they keep hearing how fantastic they're doing and how low their unemployment is.

The majority of South American and even Moroccans have gone back to their own countries.

However, there are many Russians moving to the CdS area. They're snapping up bargain homes and hotels.

As for Britain being last to tighten it's borders - they're already making plans.

Re: For the eurozone, the worst is yet to come

This is EXACTLY what's going on. Already I'm hearing the odd political voice saying that a full fiscal and political union is the only solution. Far from breaking up, this thing will pull us all closer together. But I don't think 'force' will be necessary. We are just getting into the process. Finally when people are going hungry in country after country, when civil strife peaks, the threat of war looms - people will be only too happy to accept political union - which will be put forward as our salvation - with weasel words about protecting sovereignty.

I don't think they will accept political union. People here are angry and they're getting angrier each day. Angry people will need to divert that anger eventually and we'll simply end up in war. After the war jobs will be created to rebuild everything and people will be so horrified at their personal losses, during the war, they'll forget the financial crisis ever existed. Just look back at history and the writing is on the wall.

I also don´t think there is going to be a political union anytime soon.

But no war either. Maybe tensions, borders closing, protectionism and so on. But not an outright military confrontation. That is in no one´s interest, nor is it practical. It also wouldn´t make any sense. What would the Greeks fight for? For the money they borrowed and wasted? Who´s fault is that??

If they think printing money is a solution, they can print drachmas. If we print euros that way, the euro will be just like the drachma anyway. We are all broke and we did it ourselves.

What is possible, instead, is that people will want to thank their own politicians in their own countries, since the decisions were just taken by a handful of people. No one asked the Germans to have the euro, nor the Italians, nor anyone else, as far as I know.

Greece is tiny in comparison to Spain and/or Italy. All the southern eurozone countries are in over their head. The region of Catalonia has reported it can't pay it's bills and has asked the Spanish government for a 'bailout'. Other regions will follow because if there's money for one they'll expect money for all and then austerity is out of the window. How will the people react to Bankia being given €19 Billion, by the government, when they're being told there's nothing in the kitty for their regions and more cuts must be made? It won't end well, that's for sure!
