on Sunday September 2 my wife and i went to st michaels cemetery; i was having "the man-who-would-be-King" syndrome.

what happened [in next-door Wheaton cemetery] was unexpected.

i met a guy; we spoke from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

i'll never forget the experience.

there are a few things i'd like to share of our conversation

he knew of Immanuel Kant
he agreed with the "categorical imperitive".

he said all living things have "spirit"

i said, "the ends do not justify the means".

he did not disagree
