Today is Memorial Day, a day to remember and honor those who have died defending our country. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12480369 I understand taht. Sadly, I have too many friends that either never returned or returned changed. I believe one cannot go into war without losing a part of themselves. I pray for all the families that have lost their loved ones either to war or PTSD. I spent a month with a friend on the psych ward of a veterans hospital. Those poor boys were so traumatised. It was only then that I realised, EVERYONE loses something even if your life is spared. May God Bless you. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3992786 It's the vets that make me proud, you make this country proud, not the assholes sitting in DC. Yeah I would be very proud of them as well.... [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] [link to www.uchinanchu.org] And honestly there are so many more examples. The last time the US fought a "righteous" war was the Korean war.... Signing up to be a servicemen means you voluntarily sign up to be a puppet of "the asssholes in DC". I can't really see how that would make anyone proud. |

Just read how funny they think it is to vandalize a war memorial. Thread: What?? Some idiot extinguishes eternal flame with a fire extinguisher!!!! |
