Quoting: ThaSaltineCracka I live in the south, so I'm a bit lucky in that regard. When I was in my 20s, I started to get Raynaud's in my hands so badly that I couldn't even handle ice or frozen foods for more than a second or two without getting a vascular spasm so bad that it would incapacitate me for a few minutes. Think "brain freeze" through the whole body. Turned out it was an early warning for autoimmune related endocrine failure (hybrid programmed death). When I got my immune system sorted out, my endocrine system repaired itself (hybrid vigor) and now I'm not nearly so cold sensitive. But I watch my cold sensitivity because it is an early warning that I'm pushing myself too hard. |

She didn't have too much of a problems with it last winter because of that. Also, putting hands in hot water helps as well but work on getting the circulation going internally and hot peppers certainly is better. You can also spin the arms in circles to get the blood into the hands for some relief. |

I have a pair that are supposed to be good to -40 and they help. Still get really cold fingers but not as bad. Quoting: MaryAlananB You can also sprinkle cayenne pepper into gloves for additional heat. It works when you put it in socks as well. Make sure though you wash your hands before touching your face later on. |
