I'd give it at least 50/50 chance of success providing no further explosions or devestating earthquakes/tsunamis occur in that time period, which also has 50/50 odds in my opinion. I do believe subsidence is a serious issue, especially if "china syndrome" theory proves correct. Should the worst occur, I'd say you have at the most five days to take a long vacation away from the West Coast of USA/Canada/Mexico. But with acculmulating fallout, you may want to think about relocation or at least dietary changes anyways.

Th e big cranes probably removed sections of curtain wall, of only negative structural value and in danger of falling. They have opened up the frame for better access to the fuel rods.

Still it's a pathetic effort. The Russians would have had the whole complex buried in sand and boron six months ago.

The fact that nobody has a crystal ball to be able to tell when it will fall, and the fact that there's a chance it may not, hardly makes the OP's point invalid... that building is leaning more and more all the time.

And no, it's not the reactor, which is empty anyway. It's the spent fuel pool that will kill us all. And that's what's attached to the building.

Once more, how many of these threads do we get every single week? EVERY WEEK. Every week it's "Fukushima has collapsed" this, or "Fukushima won't last another day" that. These threads pop up every single week and have been since the incident.

Fukushima is not going to blow us all to Kingdom Come. Once again, look where you are. On the Lunatic Fringe, a conspiracy site where its disclaimer even tells you not to believe what you read here. It's turning most of you into spasticated paranoiacs and I earnestly wish you take a time out and clear your head.
