I Got a Ticket Today for Parking in my Driveway...

You did not park your car only in your driveway. Leaving your car parked across a sidewalk interferes with the rights of other people in your neiborhood.

It's a safety issue.

If one of your neighbors is in a wheelchair and needed to move down the street quickly, when that person got to your house he/she would have no choice but to slow way down and swing out into the street in order to get around your car that is sticking out into the sidewalk.

That will teach you! Never park in your driveway!
