You need to understand Government is always behind the secrets. Afraid of the public knowing the truth that there are things out there besides us. The site has not really been seized. Further, there probably never was a site, the only page to exist at that location is the one that says it has been seized. Its propaganda or advertising or whatever you wanna call it, just as the actors in the program were never scientists, or involved in any research. Watch the show, and google the scientists names as they show up. Also, go to iMDB and enter the name of the program. When the show first aired, it was presented as a real show. From a blog I read,apparently, that site is supposedly "blocked" by the DHS for publicity reasons. It's to make it look like the government is upset about the "information" that was released in the Mermaids: The Body Found documentary and that it actually might be true. So, I guess it's not. It's fake.

If you watch the show on animal planet it is put together in sequences, there trying to give the civilian public hints an clues, so's folks can bring hard facts out before any government agents or government armed forces and or controlled private contractors seize the evidential proof yeah it is weird that at the end of the show they put "Oh by the way, we can't prove any of this cause its been stolen". The scenes showing mermaids is done by 3D computer graphics, these images were taken from pictures and drawings from those interviewed to give you a image of what they actually look like if you ever encounter them. The possibilities are there it is just a matter of in the area at the perfect time, just like deep sea diving to the titanic and finding brand new species we thought were extinct.
