Yup; everything but the head was buried and the head eroded. The modern egytians found it, dug it up and recarved the head. Then they stripped the marble facing off the pyramids and used it to make other stuctures. Then went on about trying to copy the pyramids which as we see now they gave it a good go but didn't come close. The real history of this planet is so much more interesting than the bs we're taught. Again it goes back to the above; all about deception. The biggest one is coming and wow; how many people are going to fall for it.
