1:59 P.M. Monday: "The storm [southwest of] Charlottesville has 64 knots of rotation," Accuweather meteorologist Henry Margusity said. "That's very strong. That's almost hurricane wind speeds at 6,000 feet."

1:54 P.M. Monday: The Storm Prediction Center issued a second tornado watch box covering eastern areas in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.

Here in SE FFX county VA it's very still winds, not quite dead calm, with light rain and some thunder/lightening.

Birds have gone to roost and are still talking/singing.

The cell to the SouthWest around Dale City is showing high winds and hail on InteliCast. Watching that one closely.

This corridor is prone to microbursts which can do as much localised damage as a "tormato".
