They did the same thing with Libya too.

They broadcast a rally in India, complete with Indians waving Indian flags, and told viewers it was joyous Libyans in Green Square, Tripoli welcoming in the rebel liberators.

I guess the BBC just assumed that their viewers wouldn't know the difference between Indians and Libyans.

Al Jazeera TV are even worse. They are owned by the State of Qatar - a western-backed petro-dictatorship with an appalling humans rights record.

Qatar is well known to be the primary conduit for arms and money funding the Syrian insurgents (falsely called the Free Syrian Army). Mind you this comes from the usual suspects in the west, fronted by NATO of course.

Given Qatar's active participation in destabilizing Syria, it is beyond comprehension that major media networks are continually screening Al Jazeera clips as 'independent' news reports. Nothing could be further from the truth.
