Though, there are other parallel events to happen simultaneously, but odds are that the Rio Centro is a hot spot.

Some radical sectors of the military were against the "gradual, slow, democratization", and wanted to stop any democratization process.

So, those military tried to do a FALSE FLAG attack on Rio Centro, and blame it on the "radical left", so they could justify a halt in the democratization process.
