Drinking is definitely harmful and addicting. If you need something try Marijuana. Better yet read or listen to Eckahart Tolle. I believe the concepts he talks about can help. They have made a difference for me, but I have to keep working on it every time I don't feel great, but it is beginning to be less and less. I can now stay in that present state more and more. It is wonderful. You don't want to be unable to quit drinking without being very sick with withdraws. Don't justify to your self. Why will you quit later and not now? Why wait? I wish you well!
