I haven't always done this so nasty people can feck off. I am just in a really bad place and I find that a bottle of wine each evening melts away the stress and allows me to be a better mother. I will actually really enjoy hanging out with my kids as opposed to just going through the motions with them

Now that I have done this for about a week, I feel like a bottle of wine isn't all that much when drunk over the course of several hours. Obviously I do not want to make a habit out of this. I am just surprised how easy it is to do!

I drink the $5 bottles like Rex Goliath because I'm not rich. I don't get hangovers either. Surely there are others who also polish off a bottle a day?

I often do, but not in order to deal with "nasty" reality, but to enjoy that said life. Life is good, and wine is part of the good things in life.

It's partially a cultural thing [ I'm a feckin' Bulgarian ], because I've grown up in a place where our smallest wine barrel was 200 liters "big" [ it was, in fact, small, and you can do the calculations for your gallons ]. My grand and grand-grand dads used to sit on the lunch and dinner tables with amounts like 1-1.4 liters, it was just part of the everyday meals. No one ever had liver issues, too. Your liver can get fucked from toxic stuff, not from some good, organic fermented grape juice - that's what good wine is.

In fact, at the moments when life sucks a little - less moneyz etc, I can't afford to have it, so I make a good detox pauses, it happens often enough ya know :D

Also, based on our cultural perception, we do not consider wine and beer as alcohol, just because real men do drink them as much as they please, and only wussiez get drunk from beer or/and wine. Real alcohol is the really strong schnapps we also brew at home, that has nothing to do with these toxic liquids sold in the store, which I refuse touching.

Reality is very personal thing.

Oh, all of my ancestors died in their minimum late 80's, some quite close to 100 y.o. and none of them because of liver issues. You guessed right - they were pouring good wine down their throats all life long.

Cheers ! [ not now, now life "sucks" a bit hahahaha :D ]
