Romney doesn't have enough trust to bring up the subject.
Not only is he a Mormon but he was a Mormon Bishop.
He doesn't want people looking too closely into his background so he leaves Obama alone.
As with McCain ... Romney doesn't want the spotlight shined too closely on his background. Romney because of his Mormonism. McCain because of his birth in Panama.
