Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Bath Salts" - the designer drug with the deceptive name The bath salts hyped with the zombie incidents are not the kind you can buy at Bed, Bath and Beyond... Bath salts, the new drug with the deceptive name, are becoming a topic of conversation among parents and teachers. Don’t let the name fool you; described by manufacturers as bath salts or plant food in order to skirt drug legislation, these designer drugs are actually a particularly nasty brand of hallucinogens, a category of drug which includes LSD (acid) and magic mushrooms.... [ link to www.alltreatment.com] These aren’t your grandmother’s bath salts. The most recent–and extremely dangerous–drug trend has poison control centers and government officials on edge. Special chemicals labeled as “bath salts” and parading under such fantastical brand names as “Ivory Snow” and “Vanilla Sky” are known to cause hallucinations, paranoia, and suicidal thoughts. What’s even more concerning is that they can be bought by any 18-year-old at their local convenience store.... [ link to www.alltreatment.com] ....The head of the Miami Fraternal Order of Police, Armando Aguilar, said cases related to the type of drugs known as “bath salts” are not new locally. “We have seen, already, three or four cases that are exactly like this where some people have admitted taking LSD and it’s no different than cocaine psychosis,” Aguilar said. In the cases Aguilar mentioned, he said the people have all taken their clothing off, been extremely violent with what seemed to be super-human strength, even using their jaws as weapons. Emergency room doctors at Jackson Memorial Hospital said they too have seen a major increase in cases linked to the street drug called “bath salts” or what Aguilar described as “the new LSD.” “We noticed an increase probably after Ultra Fest,” said emergency room Dr. Paul Adams, at Jackson Memorial Hospital.... [ link to miami.cbslocal.com] "Bath Salts", the newest fad to hit the shelves (virtual and real), is the latest addition to a growing list of items that young people can obtain to get high. The synthetic powder is sold legally online and in drug paraphernalia stores under a variety of names, such as "Ivory Wave," "Purple Wave," "Red Dove," "Blue Silk," "Zoom," "Bloom," "Cloud Nine," "Ocean Snow," "Lunar Wave," "Vanilla Sky," "White Lightning," "Scarface," and "Hurricane Charlie.".... "“[The drugs cause] intense cravings,” said Mark Ryan, director of the Louisiana poison control center. “They’ll binge on it three or four days before they show up in an ER. Even though it’s a horrible trip, they want to do it again and again.”
Obviously it's pretty awesome if they want to do it over and over again. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14174503 THIS they AREN'T HALLUCINOGENS!!!!,, They are stimulants, STIMULANTS, like Coke or Meth. They are analogues of methamphetamine. Structurally similar, but just different enough to not be illegal. They may cause hallucinations upon withdrawal, but I'm so tired of mainstream misinformation. Would I do them, no, but, I just love how they glorify things with the wrong information... |

I've taken Red Doves. They seem to amplify whatever emotions or energies you are running, divine or demonic, ten or twenty fold for a few hours. As the result of years of (mostly)sober yogic discipline, I can hold higher level merkaba configurations, but was struggling under relentless energy draining attacks. I first providentially discovered Yerba Mate could boost my energetic shielding, followed by synthetic Butylone and herbal Khat, which is still legal in the uk. I suspect that the present moral panic is brought on by the dawning realisation by the PTB that the shamanistic use of certain substances by their foes levels the playing field somewhat. K BTW, comparing cathinones to LSD is absurd. On Doves, there is no distortion of perception or loss of reflex. Any questions? |
