People are so overly sensative these days. It was just a joke. Just keeping the mood light. I am sure being a teacher and being around snotty little kids all day, sometimes you gotta do something funny, to stay loose. Truth is the new hate speech in this age of absurdity. |

The teachers never have time to contact parents. I'm so sick of hearing it's the parents fault, I guarantee if it was a private school, parents would not have to deal with this crap and that's a fact. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12837437 Ummm...excuse me, if it were a private school, they would have called the mom on the phone after the second time homework was not done to find out a. If the mom was sick and needed some assistance b. If the mom was somehow unaware of the process of checking the child's homework folder for assignments and then they'd offer the appropriate assistance or training to mitigate the issue. The point is that the kid is not going to LEARN as fast as the rest of the class if the little darling is not doing her homework. |

It's a PARENT's responsibility to make sure children do what they are supposed to do. I would not like to have my parental responsibilities or RIGHTS taken over by any state institution. People need to man up. |

They alreadtpy took the parents rights away that's why kids are out if control, the school blames parents fir everything, so therefore the kids don't take responsibility, they look to the parents too, to blame, it's a vicious circle of the blame game. |

Sending them to a private school isn't an excuse to be excused from your childs life. Sounds like lazy parenting to me.
