Scientific proof: Milky way and Andromeda will crash
They allready thought the two of them were getting really cosy in about 4 billion years, but Dutch scientists are the first to proof that the two galaxies will actually crash.

This will mean the sun will be swept out of its place. The Earth will remain in its normal orbit. The sky will look completely different.

Which of course is space norms is not much, but still it pretty fast

I believe i've heard that individual stars (solar systms) have a very low odds of being impacted, but really, who the fuck knows right? they don't even know what makes up most of our universe (dark matter/energy).

I think it is pretty funny how they say our galaxy will stay intact and the earth will keep the same orbit, only our sun will move to another part of our galaxy :)
