But honestly your definition of music is pretty flawed. Any sound directed with purpose can be construed as being musical. |

Well, after a day of battling these rap lovers, I stand by my claim. Rap is a cultural disease. the only thing irrelevant is you. but you're going to find this out sooner or later anyway. you should respond with a thank you today. i took a lot for me to tell you that. but you're obviously still thinking a world where people like yourself matters is a possibility...so you'll restrain yourself from giving me my well deserved accolades. anyway...count the number of peer or fan awards on your bookcase or mantel and then respond when the count equals at least 1. otherwise...you are just a fucking hack and your opinion is of no importance. |

The loud sub audible bass from rap music is making people physically sick and sometimes it makes me borderline insane. I have cultivated an unhealthy hate for the individuals who perpetrate this assault on my senses. I do not appreciate the invasion of my home. If I was not being forced to listen to something that the only thing I can describe as someone beating on my floors and walls I might not feel this way. But that is not the case. Rap sucks. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 2671891 United States 06/01/2012 09:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Again, you guys try to shift the argument: Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1563193 In case you have already forgotten, a previous rap lover made the claim that there were plenty of rap artists out there with classical musical backgrounds. I asked him to provide proof. Therefore, the burden of proof lies on his shoulders. I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting.... Actually he said there are plently of classically trained musicians in rap, which is hugely different than having a classical music background. It appears that you think that for a musician to have any worth they must have a background in classical music, which is completely ridiculous. I despise most rap, some is alright, but for the most part I agree with you. The difference is that I'm not a self-important douche set on convincing others that my opinion is right by berating them and the music they like. |
