Rap Music is a cultural disease.

Like any other genre of music, you have to sift through mountains of crap to find a true diamond.

I don't take it that you've ever tried to do that, but if done correctly Hip Hop (as we like to call it, rap is almost universally horrible IE the Lil's)

Unfortunately stupid music is what's profitable right now, so that's all we're hearing, be it Nickelback or Lil Wayne.

The loud sub audible bass from rap music is making people physically sick and sometimes it makes me borderline insane. I have cultivated an unhealthy hate for the individuals who perpetrate this assault on my senses.

Everyone on that list is rather intelligent. Don't generalize a crap music to mean everyone who listens to it is unintelligent. I'm not a fan of rap, but its just not my taste.

J Dilla produced that Tribe beat. Binary Star - Masters of the Universe is one of my favorite all time albums. One Man Army (One Be Lo) and Senim Silla! Also love Athletic Mic League, Typical Cats, Brother Ali, Atmosphere, Hieroglyphics, Souls of Mischief, Pharcyde, De La Soul, Wu Tang!, etc. I could go on for days.

Actually he said there are plently of classically trained musicians in rap, which is hugely different than having a classical music background.

It appears that you think that for a musician to have any worth they must have a background in classical music, which is completely ridiculous.
