That's what you say now but when the noob in the Oval Office blames this on (insert country), there will be more laws created to take our rights away and another 15 Trillion to the National Debt....to protect the sheep from the "dangerous terroristic ideologies of the US constitution".

21 years ago today

The Abuja Treaty, an international agreement signed on June 3, 1991 in Abuja, Nigeria, created the African Economic Community, and called for an African Central Bank to follow by 2028. The current plan is to establish an African Economic Community with a single currency by 2023.

The Dana Air flight was taking passengers from Lagos to Abuja, said Harold Denuren, head of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

rust visible on control surfaces from far away. looks like a maintenance issue.

Oh PLEASE. Even a poor country in Africa would NOT allow a plane to fly if there were rust...

Not on a commercial airliner like this. Maybe a smaller cargo plane...

Al Jazeera's Yvonne Ndege, reporting from Abjua, said people on the ground in Lagos believe it may have hit a power line and crashed into a building. She said there are pictures on the internet of huge plumes of smoke across the Lagos skyline.

Wow large recognizable piece of the plane intact along with intact bodies.

Nothing at all like we saw on 9/11.

Planes are made of aluminum, they don't rust. They do fatigue though and parts need to be inspected and if needed replaced. probably lack of proper maintenance is the cause.

Do I detect a bit of...

...Obama-Nation...?

""
In August 2010, the US announced it had given Nigeria the FAA's Category 1 status, its top safety rating that allows the nation's domestic carriers to fly directly to the States.

But Nigeria, like many African countries, has a poor air safety record, though some efforts have been made to improve it following a number of airline disasters in 2005.

A passenger plane has crashed into a two-story building in the Nigerian city of Lagos. Officials have said there are many casualties, but so far no exact numbers are available.

Totally FAKE! Everyone knows that when a plane crashes, it disintegrates into dust! These pics show recognizable pieces of a plane? Usually after a plane crashes, the only thing left is DNA and a couple pristine passports....

Control surfaces are not made of materials that rust....maybe the control surfaces were replaced with marshmellows and the African heat caused critical structural failure.

I'm sure some of you GLPers know this but jet airplanes are an obsolete and unnecessary technology that is only kept around to facilitate a completely artificial ponzi economy.

Think about it. The most efficient mode of transportation offered today was first used at the dawn of man.

Barges/rafts/boats.

2nd - Rail...used by Egyptian miners....and later railroad technology.

We have been kept in the dark while the black budget programs zip around the solar system using the secret space program that was started in the US in 1954....and the underground maglev evacuated tube shuttle at MACH 2-3.

Country in Africa = No one cares.
 Quoting: BZB

Shouldn't all "African" Americans come together to assist their brethren? They sure as hell jump on the bandwagon to claim "African" American status in order to receive taxpayer funded entitlements.

Yet I never see or hear one "African" American speaking out against the atrocities committed in African countries against their African brothers and sisters. Never! I don't get the hypocrisy.

I guess now I'll be labeled a "racist" because you're not supposed to question the motives of "African" Americans.

Look how much of the plane is left, and yet there was literally nothing when a plane hit the pentagon, lol.
