We have chosen you to become part of our circle." Is this a joke? Has anyone else recieved a letter like this? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14015 Probably you got a letter from Santa Claus, you know, ye ol' man with red pajamas is a prankster. [link to rosariofatima.wordpress.com] |

Listen those kinds of things aren't real, no one is going to care what you research online and send you a letter saying they are from any secret organization. Just not gonna happen. |

Lying to someone about what's an obvious prank is almost as bad as being the one to do it. Do you think its a good idea for teenagers to go around telling people that the illuminati is sending them letters? lol Not so much. |

More likely the OP believes the letter is potentially credible, and is herself deceived. I also doubt the illuminati, if such a group existed, would be so straightforward. Perhaps we have all just been using our imaginations overmuch. |

They wouldn't be so straightforward at all, and they wouldn't pick some ordinary citizen that was just looking things up online. lol Yeah I fear that some people really get wayyyyy to into that and think they are being watched 24/7 and they are almost the best targets for pranks. |

Admittedly though, if sensitive intel were online, perhaps paranoia would be the perfect method of dealing with those who dug a little too deep? It's not inconceivable, at least. anonymous User ID: 63826289 United States 10/24/2014 09:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the letter i got at 18 made no mention to the groups name just promises of fortune and fame and as much sex as i wanted and went into detail about all three for 2 whole pages to say in the end that all i had to do was put the letter back in the mailbox, letter btw that had no return address. It was as if they hand delivered it, and were watching me. Needless to say, i didnt put the letter back in the box. i tore it up, and flushed it down the toilet. i felt like burning it was too closely related to who they call god, and doing the opposite would be more offensive. |

rteruss User ID: 70414296 United States 09/26/2015 11:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I got a similar letter in 2006 or 2007 when I lived in Louisiana the letter mentioned several names of famous people but was very cryptic it did not mention the name Illuminati it concluded with if you are interested please write a response letter to such and such address I immediately ripped up the letter and did not even entertain bringing it it to my house |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 57812151 Sweden 09/26/2015 11:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No I am not apart of the illuminati, I am a housewife in upstate NY. I posted this here because I had question. I thought origianly that this was a prank letter. I also thought that many of you all may find it interesting and would know something about this. I do not agree with world domination or control so this invitation that they extended to me has very little appeal. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14015 Funny, got three separate letters of invitation to the conference on the family in Philly. Sent the same letter with accompanying literature. We wondered if they couldn't believe we didn't respond. Let me tell you. To attend that conference was extremely expensive. Certainly the poor can't afford to attend so made you wonder what the Church was up to. |
