Two hikers stopped a 21-year-old man from raping a woman in broad daylight by tackling him to the ground and restraining him until police arrived.

The brave men rushed to the aid of the woman who was violently attacked as she walked her dog near Canyon Park, Los Angeles, on Saturday morning.

The hikers heard the woman, who has not been identified, screaming as Dejan Sebastian threw her to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her.
