Amusement park workers, any job that is done during the summer, winter, fall etc. Why should seasonal workers receive unemployment? Am I missing something? If you are employed in the US and I'm not talking about illegals, but citizens. Get laid off at the end of the "Season" then you are entitled to unemployment insurance while you look for another job. Which is not that much and it is taxable. The states are looking at stopping the unemplyment payments to the out of work seasonal workers. |

I worked countless summer jobs and don't ever remember being entitled to UE when it ended. Times must be different now. I think it's wrong, since you go into the job knowing it's temporary. |

And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it. I am an evil giraffe, and I shall eat more leaves from this tree than perhaps I should, so that other giraffes may die. |
