WTF, Where's All The Birds? I Live Facing Woods & I Can't Hear One Tweet, Tw*t Or Twitter Out Of Them....

It is a bright & warm sunny day here in Manchester, UK and find this very strange...

All I can hear out my windows is children playing as they are off school due to it being a bank holiday. When I say not one bird, I mean it, not one, not even seen any.

In this area, there are sparrows, starlings, finches, magpies, crows and other birds. Also there is a small lake/pond with ducks etc nearby.

Check the area out on Google earth, the postcode is M27 8GQ and it covers quite a large area around here (so I'm not giving address out). You will see some woods opposite to where it lands you on there, follow the woods one way ands it leads you too a wider area of woods, go the other way and it will lead you to the small lake/pond.

This area is usually full of wildlife. Maybe there having a day off due to bank holiday, or they could be dead due to fumes as this area was an old landfill site, or maybe the radiation from Japan is affecting them, I really don't know....

Seriously though, sommat ain't right. I mean, the little fuckers (birds) for the last few months have been tweeting away mostly all night, now there not tweeting during the day, WTF, not right, not right at all.

Anyone else experiencing lack of birds in there area??
