Anonymous Coward User ID: 1089603 New Zealand 06/08/2012 04:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | was looking at the sun last week while wearing welding gogs, there was a planet or sumthing infront of it, looked like the same as the venus transit except it was nearly bang in the middle of the sun, did a double check with my binnoculars through the gogs, definately sumthing odd going down up thea, bowt mid afternoon. Must try the red filter floppy disk thing sumtime. Nice pics T ! |

I'm not sure, My guess is a lens flare. the pink/purple colours are in some other pics, which the moon isn't in, almost like the sky turned that colour.. |

Has been like that for years and every now and then...PLANET X !!!!!. The camera has a long exposure.. which is why it is so bright.. and the camera has been damaged by the volcanic fumes and has a red tint. If you look at the daytime pics you can see a pink tint. Sad it is not something more dramatic... . |
