This is a truely serious matter to all Australians and our leaders need to re-learn why they were elected by us, and that was to run this country for us, NOT themselves. Please copy and email this new web address to all your contacts and lets really make a difference. |

We have to stop the thieves, they are arseholes of the highest order. Quoting: Unbeliever 13765424 Thank you for your input. If I might be so bold as to suggest "pin requests" and "star" votes, this will keep this thread prominent enough to get this message out to as many people as possible. cheers arkay |

They are just looking for people to fine that million dollars , . Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1099462 I mean really a fine like that is a huge revenue raiser . The more Aussies they can trap in that quagmire the better for their pockets . I can understand your missgivings, however I do believe that if you dont do anything, then you let the government get away with not just this but everything else they might ever want to do. Lets face it, thats why we are where we are today, and its not heading in the right direction, quite the opposite. And if you dissagree, then that is your right too, (well at least for now!) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 16735882 Australia 06/04/2012 11:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why isn't it Australians against Juliar Gillard? Because she is the carbon tax. There has been hundreds of proposals of carbon reduction schemes and trading schemes, to appease moronic Marxist voters. But only an absurd buffoon like Juliar would straight out try to tax the damn air. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 17381520 Australia 06/04/2012 11:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | it will be repealed . the downside is abbot will be the pm. every single lib/nat of importance has now sworn on camera to repeal it when elected. juliar lying about it has spelt death for labour, a death that could only be outshone by the lib/nats if they are all lying about it. it is all a shameful waste of time and money. |

Its people like yourselves that we so desperatley need to bring this counrty back to the better times we all once had. And, it can be done, remember all those thousands of petitions that forced little johnnie not to but up beer prices when he bought in the GST. He hated the whole country over that, BUT, we made him listen. And he had NO choice, the prices ( excise Tax ) never moved. So it can be done, if enough people care. |

NOT Please remind me, where did she borrow the money from this time? Ha, probably the same apparent bottomless pit that pretty well all the current colleagues of hers believe exists. Of course they are dreaming and pretty soon that dream will turn into their worst nightmare. I cant even see how their party could possibly continue to ever be re-elected this side of the next century. What they dont realize about the typical Australian, is that while they might not be all that pro-active, they posses very very long memories AND they do hold grudges, just that they do it in a nice way. They dont forget and they do get even. Heres that URL again, for the convenience for you all. cheers arkay [link to www.taxpayers.org.au] |

arkay (OP) User ID: 944501 Australia 06/05/2012 01:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually, If you believe the Australian Bureau of Statistics as far back as around the year 2000, they found that Australians on average worked around 30 minutes a day longer than any other first world nations. It was also revealed that a percentage of that time was unpaid work also. So, I like to think that the reason that Australians arent all that Pro-active and able to do a lot is that with workloads as high as that and so little time for family etc, its not all that surprising to understand why we tend to go with the flow, there really often arent any more practical solutions available. This is why I posted here, it is a way that we can collectively do something that doesent eat huge chunks of our time, and it can produce a desirable result. Logical, simple and practical? |
arkay (OP) User ID: 944501 Australia 06/05/2012 02:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You need a great leader like George Bush and Dick Cheney to get you out of that bullshit. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15526347 Yeah this is true we need more food on our families and restore chaos. Excellent... did you know that our PM receives about double the pay of the President of the US? And that trend flows on down right throuhgout our entire political and senior administrative government services and advisors. Thats why you are being constantly fed so much BS and any spin just to lever more money out of your pockets. And its time for that to stop. Eliminate State Governments...duplication and waste, when he left NSW State Government even Michael Costa said that! Expand Local Government , they are where the needs are and they can best assess where and how money is best spent. Make all levels of Governments/ Politicians and Administration regularly be assessed and publically reported on for PERFORMANCE, and PRODUCTIVITY. Good enough for us...good enough for them! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 16735882 Australia 06/05/2012 02:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Eliminate the Federal waste government, and the local waste corrupt scam government. And put things back in control solely of the state governments. This means whatever revenues each state earns, they can spend on their own state. Instead of wealthier states having to pay for less wealthy states. Like WA paying for Canberra! |
